Benito for my mom

This is a quick painting I did last night, today I gave it the last touches It's a gift for my mom since tomorrow, March 9th is her birthday. I really don't have too much money to buy her something pretty, so I remembered that I promised her that when she changes from her old workplace to the new one I was going to make her a painting... and well ^^ here it is, her favorite cat in our feline crowd, the famous Benito (all the block must know him since she calls him 3 or 4 times a day ¬¬

This meassures 25cm x 30cm, it's a canvas board, I hate working with canvas, but it's the cheapest thing to practice with right now that doesn't need previous care. All made with acrylics and colored pencils. I gave it a coat of matte barnish for protection ^^

Oh, I forgot to mention that mom also loves green, so I added this color to the background ^^ I hope she likes it as much as I do! (she's the most complicate person in this house, you never know if she's going to be happy with the gifts you give her )
