Just to show off the stages of my new painting :D

This is the biggest painting I've worked and still I feel I don't know what to do with so many space in the wood... Mom made me a cruel critique, she said that it looks so much like the other painting I made that involved water (Through the waves)... She's right, but this is almost the effect I wanted for that painting, but like we would say, this is the "fixed and improved" version of that old painting :)

It meassures 1.23 m x 0.84 m wich is around : 47" x 32" (inches). So, it's really big for me :D

But well, this is only the warming up for the next one I'm making wich it's like 47" x 64" :p ehehehehe I'm going big this year!!! :D

The next picture will be the finished piece, but well, it's new year's eve, I hope I can be able to work >.<

It's an interesting subject matter. I love the horses, they really do portray power and grace. The way you tastefully rendered the figure is also quite nice.

That's realy pretty, though I don't think the two paintings are that similar. The feelings repesented in the two paintings seem a bit different from one another. :)

omg seriouslly this is amazing. Probably my favorite. the horses look perfect. The middle horse looks the best. And you did really good on the girl, she looks really smooth and beautiful. I love the hair and its fluidity in this. I like it a lot :D
