"Koi"

This little girl is inspired on my "Koi" painting:



but of course with a more cute-ish look to match a baby pony =)

Koi fishes are a very strong symbol in my present, when I want to keep moving foward without fear of what's ahead for me. No fear for change, that's my aim and this pony is representing some kind of therapeutic kind of art for my heart.

I'm using old ponies that are standing there without being finished as well as finishing with some old commissions you saw the previous post =)

She was a little g3 baby, the only one g3 baby bait I've ever had, I sculpted her hair like a year ago, so I just finished the painting =) Her muzzle is also sculpted to give her a hint of a real horse nose =)

She was painted using acrylics, sealed with Sculpey gloss glaze and I also used some swarovski crystals to represent shiny tiny bubbles on her symbol (Both DS and NDS) and crystals on her hair to make them look like big bubbles too ^^

One curiosity about this girl is that I didn't use any hint of black or brown to make the darker parts, even the eyes. Everything was made with Dark Blue, 2 shades of purple, ochre, cream, white and orange ^^

"Koi" the baby pony is looking for a home I'm asking $70 for her (includes Shipping and handling worldwide)

So pretty! I just love the way you do the hair on your ponies. It's just beautiful. And the little crystals are a nice touch.
