Just a quick note.
My uncle passed away. We're driving first hour in the morning to arrive early and help my family with all the stuff to be done.
I'm terribly worried for my cousins, they're strong, but they're humans and for me, they're still children.

This past week has been full of worries,sorry for the lack of updates.
I'll be back probably in mid-week.
I'm not quite sure.

Hello!
I tried to make a little update this weekend, but I had to go out to get some relax bcause one of my uncles fell very sick last week, with a breathing problem. 4 days, 1 particular doctor and 3 hospitals later, they finally gave a diagnostic, Pneumonia caused by a H1N1 virus infection complication.

Yeah... they didn't run the tests when he went in the hospital. In none of the 3 hospitals.

On saturday they weren't giving hopes. So as we couldn't go bcause our car is not working well, we stood here waiting for news. Mom is strong, but of course, she can't deal with everything by her own. So dad and I are trying to be a good pair of kids and not give her more problems and worries.

Today we got informed that my uncle is doing a little bit better, they're starting to reduce the oxygen they're giving him. They removed the tube that was helping him to breathe as now i'm getting informed by another cousin. So, we're keeping our faith up.

On work updates:

This week I'll be updating with last week's custom, a color painting, and some b/w drawings. As well as 2 photoshoots of old customs I've recently sold.

This 2 weeks are going to be crazy, since the next convention is on Octobrer 10 and 11. So, lots of work ahead.

Hello, if there's anybody there still watching!

It's been a weird month again. Everything's going back on track and yeah, I've finally found myself concentrated and working. I have heavy months ahead, so it's going to be a very exciting run to the end of the year.

First of all, I'm back on customizing. All of the pending comissions will take their time, but I just finished a quick one and well, after a year and a half without customizing ponies, I'm very happy with the results. This brings me huge ideas for the pending ones. That's what I needed, a big boost. I won't say wich one is next. You'll see the pics coming.

Thanks to all the understanding customers. You all know who you are. I thank you with all my heart <3

About color drawings and paintings pending. Of course you'll know about them soon. I won't be updating anything in a rush just to brag. I might make weekly updates. To keep myself in order. I might find saturdays and sundays as the best days to submit works. Next weekend I will be updating.

To all my $1 comissions customers, I'm completely working on them too! As you know, they take more time than I thought, might be due that I'm a f*ckin' perfectionist. I know it's been a year and I'm still on them. I'm deeply sorry, really really sorry. Thank you for your patience.

As for my watchers, thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

And, I will also be cleaning my gallery. I'm taking most of the old works into scraps, and I might be using the portfolio on DA to upload my paintings once I have them ready. Also, I'll be creating a new account for my photographs, and perhaps another one for my custom ponies. I would love everything to be in only one, but well. I'll have to think about it seriously ^^

And about local news. I'll be on the next Veracon Pre-halloween convention along with the amazingly talented and on the artist's stands. I'm excited that I was invited for it. I hope to learn a lot with them both. I'm also going to practice photography there, it's going to be amazing I hope I can have the time to do everything!

As for personal updates. I had a little problem in my skin that stopped me to work in other people's projects. this kept me 1 month behind. But right now I'm much better and well, as you read, I'm working again on artistic stuff.

I was reading the news online as I always do when I turn on the PC. I found a courious link on the page that said "Defending the Animals".. it's weird to find articles like that on mexican newspaper, so I checked and I was led to a very beautiful website of an organization that protects animals on Mexico city.

The website is called "Gente por la Defensa Animal" or People for the defense of the Animals, the website is: [link]

They're focused on fighting the violence against animals of all species. Our country is one of the ones with less concience for the animals wellfare, animals are sacrificed in awful ways on anti-rabies centers, animals are hated and treated as plagues on streets and if you defend them, you pass to be hated by the community. Mexico is a third world country, so most people focus their financial efforts for themselves, and think about animals like they're a load they have to carry all around. If you take care of an animal (or several as we do) you focus your finances mainly on them and the rest on yourself, as well as your time most of the times. And for this, you get hated by many people around you. So there's absolutely no culture around us. I'm happy that there's a place in my country that brings hope to the less fortunate.

I'm surprised on how many activities they have, they even have a wonderful adoption program! And they say that if a person from other country wants to adopt, it's possible! I'm impressed and very happy that people like that exist. It gives me hopes, little by little bcause sometimes I feel like I'm alone in this "animal caring" world.

If you are an Animal lover, check the website, it has a page on english, and you'll fall in love as I did. I wish I could adopt a little kitty I saw on the adoption banner, but well, if we have FeLV, our home is not a safe place for him I hope that somebody adopt him soon...

I wish I could donate more for them, I'm impressed that they're supported by other international organizations, it's amazing! I'm very proud.

Check their website if you have time and if you want to know about animal's situation in my country. It's not pretty and it will give you an idea about why I feel lonely sometimes >.<
